Solo Havant drivers take note - Its lift share week!

This week it's Lift Share week. People up and down the country will be sharing their journeys with family friends and work colleagues to save money and join in the fun of the very first lift share scheme.

It's all about caring for the environment and helping people out.
Some of the benefits of this new scheme are
- You will make new friends
- You will save petrol
- You won't have to drive in Traffic every day
- You will have less stress
- The journey will be more fun with extra company
- You will be doing your 'bit' for the environment
Please take a look at the website HERE - Its has lots of information and FAQs. Also a cost calculator to work out just how much you would save by sharing your journey to work or joining someone in their car.
There are 1,844 journeys from Havant alone already this week so Log on HERE and join in the fun. You can get a poster to download to put up in your work place and spread the word via Facebook and Twitter.

I have shared my car before and given work colleagues a lift. I would definitely download and print a poster to get more people doing this. It is nice to take friends to work and they repay the favour so you don't need to drive every day. I wouldn't give lifts to strangers but work mates are ok.
