Synopsis:
Reserved academic Professor Parkins travels to the seaside town of Burnstow, Suffolk for an out of season stay at the remote Globe Inn. Whilst walking along the deserted beach Parkins unearths an ancient whistle from a cemetery. After returning to the hotel and examining the whistle, Parkins discovers an inscription: 'Who is this who is coming?'. Consumed by curiosity, Parkins blows the whistle. From then on events force Parkins to question both his beliefs and sanity.
