Going down Havant on a Friday and Saturday night is fun and the pubs are entertaining and always full. The only problem is people overindulging and getting really drunk - that's when the violence and problems start.

On Saturday, a man was attacked and knocked unconscious at the Six Bells Pub at around 10pm. The Police were called and the pub shut so an investigation into the incident could begin.

The Star Pub has recently been in the News too with violence and noise and people being badly injured in fights. I use to enjoy a night out in Havant it seems lately though, you need to keep your wits about you and stay away from the rowdy drunken element that spoil an evening's entertainment with their stupid behaviour.

What do you think? have you been a victim of this or witnessed any problems on an evening out? Let us know!

I go into Havant in the early evening to have a little drink and Im back at home before any trouble starts, so I have never seen any trouble in Havant. Maybe I'm just lucky that way

If the police had more presence in the town on Friday and Saturday nights and made some arrests, that would quieten it down somewhat. It would also give some reassurance to the public as well who are passing through the 'war' zone!

I like going to the pubs in Havant - it's a shame some people get drunk and ruin the atmosphere for everyone else. I hate seeing fights in the street. The problem is you can never tell which pub is going to have trouble.
