Where to get Valentines gifts and cards in Havant.

Valentines day is coming up shortly and it will be time again to show the loved one in your life, just how much you care for them.

Here in Havant we have lots of places to go to buy cards and gifts with plenty of choice for the large or smaller budget.

Cardfair in Park Parade and in the Meridian Centre, are stocked full of Valentines cards, really cheaply priced. You can buy a huge card for only 99p. Teddy bears wrapped in cellophane and small gifts are available for you to buy for your loved one. Get in early and avoid the queues which are pretty much guaranteed in these small shops.

Clintons in the Meridian Centre have more pricey cards but I have to say the quality is excellent. They have small thoughtful gifts with soft sentimental words over them for the romantic in you and they sell beautifully scented candles so you light up the love in your life.

If it's chocolates you're after, why not try Mr Simms sweet shop in West Street Precinct. You could also buy a mixture of some of their retro sweets and tie them with a bow. They also sell Love Heart sweets.

WHSmith in the Meridian centre have a small selection of cards you could buy your loved one. How about a book or DVD for a gift idea from here, as they have the top best sellers on sale.

Tesco and Asda have gone all out as usual with a whole aisle of Valentines gifts and cards. You can get something special from there or at the very least the ingredients for a romantic home made dinner for two. They also sell lots of bouquets of flowers in all different colours and price ranges.

If you are a man and brave and would like to buy your lady some underwear, New Look is the answer. Branches in West Street Precinct or Park Parade both have a good selection of pretty underwear. Just make sure you get the correct size!

Finally, for Florists, it's probably their busiest day and if you plan to order some flowers to send, get in quick so you know they will be delivered on time. Forget-me-not in Market Parade is an Interflora shop and have helpful ladies that will help you decide what to get and send. Also Havant Fruit and Flowers in West Street have some lovely Bouquets and you can buy them from their range or order some to send.
