The Mayor of Havant offers further help to local charities and young Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in the Havant Borough.

The Mayor of Havant is always busy helping raise funds for his chosen charities and is now offering further help by launching a charity appeal fund. He is offering small grants to both charitable organisations and Young Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in Havant Borough. Charitable organisations that are run within the Havant Borough can apply for small grants to help with their work.

Continuing the work of Councillor Yvonne Weeks during her term of office as Mayor, young Olympians and Paralympians within the borough are also invited to apply for small grants to help them fulfil their potential.
The Mayor of Havant Councillor Ken Smith said "It will give me great pleasure to assist local charities and sports people so please don't hesitate to submit applications for consideration."
Last year the fund supported 35 local charitable organisations and 2 young Olympians in the borough.
