Havant 'Serving You' Magazine now comes with the Rubbish and Recycling Calenders for 2012

Residents of Havant Borough Council can now look forward to receiving their new 2012 Rubbish and recycling calenders in a new way.

For the first time ever 'Serving You' Magazine comes with a four page section on rubbish and recycling and the unique 'page pull out and keep' section of the magazine includes information on changes to bin collections over the Christmas period, what you can and can't recycle as well as information on Garden Waste collections. But most importantly residents will find a map together with a calendar informing them of which week to put out their Rubbish wheeled bin or their Recycling wheeled bin throughout 2012.

The quarterly magazine will also include all of the usual helpful and interesting articles and news stories for Havant.

Councillor David Collins, Portfolio holder for Environment and Neighbourhood Quality said "This is a new way in which residents of the borough will receive their Rubbish and Recycling Calendars. In previous years information packs have been hand delivered to each household, by including information such as this within the council's magazine 'Serving You' not only saves money but reduces the amount of materials used to produce the packs.

Residents are also reminded to place their bins out by 7am on their day of collection to ensure an efficient service.
