It's the first year since the school changed to an academy and they have had significant staff restructuring and hope to see figures improve for next year.

It still makes them the best in the area and the school prides itself on the support the teachers and support staff provide and the commitment of their hard working pupils.

Park Community School had continued success with their GCSE results. The school has retained its high standard for exams again this year with 95% of pupils achieving 5 high grade passes of  grade C and above - Also 55% of the school pupils achieved 5 high grade passes including maths and English which meets the governments all important Gold Standard. Mr Anders, Headmaster of the school was clearly delighted and told me it wasn't just about the results, fantastic as they are, it was more about seeing the faces of all the pupils who came in and collected their results. He said he is incredibly proud of all the staff and students for their achievement.

We'd also like to hear from students. What were your grades like? Were you happy with what you got? Are you going straight to college/sixth form or leaving education altogether? comments welcome.
