Free fitness Induction days at Havant Leisure Centre

I have just come back from the FREE induction day at Havant Leisure Centre, I was looking for a Gym to join and as Havant Leisure Centre were offering a free induction; well what a better time to start. All the festivities from Christmas have taken there toll and I need to shift a few pounds, I was greeted by a Personal Trainer who was eager to sign me up to the platinum membership that was on offer ( Only £31 per month ) I could also have her as my personal trainer for only £25 per session, Half an hour of sales spiel and Id had enough. The only "FREE" induction I could have was when I sign up for a twelve month membership. What a waste of time.
I phoned Southdowns College and they have a gym that anyone can use, The induction is FREE! and its only £2.50 a session.
Hours of use for the general public are 5.30pm - 9pm Weekdays
and 9am -12pm on Saturdays
Park Community School also have a gym thats open to the public
Only £3 per session.
Opening hours are 5pm - 8pm Weekdays and 9am - 12pm Saturday

Hi flower_power I was really pi**** *ff that I had wasted my time down there, I could have had a Free induction at Southdowns College or Park Community School rather than listening to a sales pitch from Havant Leisure Centre, I opted for the FREE induction and Session from Park in the end , I'm really glad I did as the Young lad who gave the session was rather good and the Gym's a friendly place with normal people inside no muscle bound mirror hogging Arnold look-a-likes in sight :) . . . Cant wait for my next session and at only £3, I think I will make it a regular thing
